Automobiles in German City Found Smeared with Swastikas in Human Blood, Police Report

Police reported they were contacted by a individual who discovered a automobile in Hanau smeared with red-colored liquid

Approximately fifty automobiles have been smeared with what appears to be human blood in the Germany's city of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, police confirm police.

Automobiles, walls and postboxes were vandalized, sometimes with Nazi symbols, they reported in a statement.

Police say they were contacted late on Wednesday, when a man noticed that a automobile in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been marked with a reddish liquid.

The fluid had been placed in the shape of a banned symbol, they reported.

Officers then discovered numerous other smeared cars and residential walls in the surrounding area.

These symbols are prohibited in Germany under regulations outlawing the visible presentation of Nazi-era symbols.

Officials report preliminary tests show the liquid was most likely human bodily fluid.

"There is still no indication as to its source; officials are not yet aware of any physical harm in connection with the event," they stated.

City officials announced they were working "to unravel the incident" and have asked to the community for tips.

An important political figure commented the vandalism left him speechless and had to be resolved rapidly.

"This event strikes at the center of Hanau and reawakens the wounds of the right-wing violent incident in 2020," he stated on a platform, recalling the death of nine individuals by a gunman aiming at individuals of migrant background in 2020.
